Terms of service for VendorSignal.
These terms describe how the service may be used, what the platform does, and what it does not guarantee.
Service scope
VendorSignal provides supplier-vetting workflows, structured intake, AI-assisted normalization, and risk-reporting tools for sourcing and payment decisions.
VendorSignal is decision-support software. It is not legal advice, compliance certification, escrow, payment protection, or independent factual verification of a supplier.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for the accuracy of information submitted to the service.
You must not use the service to submit unlawful material, malware, stolen data, or information you do not have the right to process.
You must not attempt to reverse engineer, abuse, overload, or bypass access controls on the service.
Reports and limitations
Reports are generated from user-provided input, optional attachments metadata, AI normalization, and deterministic scoring logic. Outputs may be incomplete or wrong if the input is incomplete, contradictory, or misleading.
You remain responsible for payment decisions, contract review, independent verification, regulatory checks, and any losses arising from a supplier transaction.
VendorSignal does not warrant that a supplier is legitimate, safe to pay, or fit for any specific commercial purpose.
Availability, billing, and suspension
The service may change, improve, or remove features over time. We may suspend access to protect the platform, users, or underlying infrastructure.
Free and paid plan limits may change. Paid features, billing, and renewal behavior are governed by the plan shown in your workspace at the time of purchase.
Data handling
By using the service, you instruct VendorSignal to store submitted supplier data, report outputs, usage records, and operational logs needed to run the product.
Service providers used for hosting, authentication, database storage, and AI processing may handle that data as subprocessors. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VendorSignal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
VendorSignal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, customers, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.
